Welcome to the "BEAST". After owning her for just about two years it's the best name I can come up with to describe her. I am the second owner of this amazing car. You want power..no problem. You want solid handling...also no problem. You want exclusivity and rarity...no problem! Hennessey took what started life as an SS Camaro and completely re-worked her. First they replaced the engine with an LS-9 Corvette Engine. The largest displacement production american made engine at the time. This took some real work. While it slotted and bolted into the car well the two computers from the factory don't talk well with each other normally. Hennessey fixed all that and it works like a champ. It's a simply amazing car. People just get a sort of giddy look when you start it up. It makes more of a low purr sound than a whine. I can send you a video if you like. After Hennessey finished with the engine they went to work on almost every other part of the car. First the lowered her with KW coil overs and re-worked the suspension entirely. In fact it's a bit too low for everyday driving. We raised it just a bit to make it more drive able as it was even hard to go to the gas station at first but if you like it can be easily lowered. We raised it by about 1.5 inches. Once Hennessey finished the suspension they went to work on the exhaust, cooling systems, carbon fiber air dams, cold box air intake, front and rear brakes, tires wheels etc. It's all done. You can drive her as is and probably smoke any other Camaro out there right now. The only upgrade that the original owner did not do was a pulley upgrade that would have increased her horsepower even further. He felt it might cause potential overheating issues...something you don't want in Texas. It has never had a problem with me and Hennessey says they can easily change a pulley, re-tune the motor and get it to 1000HP...if your into that. I can tell you I would not bother. It already has WAY too much power. It's hard to keep her planted sometimes. It take a steady hand and a good driver..... I am selling her because I can use the money to upgrade my house, pay for music lessons, etc. It's time for me to grow my business and do other things with the money. This car drives smooth and quiet and will cruise along at highway speeds with ease and lots of go power on tap. I took her on one trip to San Antonio and it was a joy. Easy to drive and every one was trying to figure it out. People who know what this car is know it's ultra rare. Hennessey made 24 that year. This is number 6. It's my baby and I want her to go to a good home where she will be well taken care of. So if you have questions let me know. I have probably left something out but there are plenty of pictures. She will love you and treat you right and you can reclaim that cruising feeling with windows down, radio blaring oh and sweet exhaust note you remembered from your youth!
